Keep Newburgh Beautiful Talks Trash!

Saturday, October 7th at 9am at the (New)burgh Porch, 15 S. Johnston Street, Newburgh.

Keep Newburgh Beautiful will discuss the benefits of community cleanup programs and how their weekly clean up projects – ongoing for the past three years! – has impacted the quality of life in Newburgh, transformed the image of the city, and engaged residents. The talk will also describe how community cleanup programs engage with the city’s DPW. Following the talk, participants will help with a clean-up along S. Johnston Street.

Keep Newburgh Beautiful aims to help clean and beautify the streets and neighborhoods, to support the people who are ALWAYS cleaning up, and to help you make your street one you can be proud to live on.

Come prepared for a clean up! We recommend wearing long pants and sneakers, and bringing gloves.

This event is co-sponsored by The Fullerton and New York Landmarks Conservancy and presented as part of @archtober, NYC's annual architecture and design festival.
