Safeguarding Churches in Newburgh

Friday, October 6th from 4-5pm at the (New)burgh Porch, 15 S. Johnston Street, Newburgh.

Newburgh is a city of churches, with a variety of religious congregations. Many of the church buildings have been here for centuries. Join us to learn about the New York Landmarks Conservancy’s Sacred Sites program and understand how we can safeguard historic church property to support and further their missions. This workshop will focus on planning and implementing exterior restoration projects, technical assistance, and workshop opportunities.

This event is co-sponsored by The Fullerton and New York Landmarks Conservancy and presented as part of @archtober, NYC's annual architecture and design festival.
