Open Call for Film Shorts
Story Screen and The Fullerton are partnering on a mini film festival for Archtober in Newburgh, NY. During the first weekend of October, we'll be exploring themes of urbanism, preservation, architecture, and more. We are issuing an open call for short films or documentaries to be featured. Content of films can fall into two categories: either urbanism or the Hudson Valley as a whole. Themes can explore personal history, arts, culture, kids, science, and democracy/civics. Filmmakers do not need to be residing in the Hudson Valley to qualify for entry into the festival.
SUBMISSIONS WILL ACCEPTED UNTIL SEPT 30TH. To be considered, email info@storyscreenpresents.com with a file upload of your film (either link, Dropbox, Drive or attachment), along with the following information:

Films cannot be longer than 30 minutes. Films will be selected based on originality, creativity, engaging storytelling, and an ability to reach the intended audience. We welcome innovative approaches and invite you to include animation, found footage, or personal audio/visual material. SUBMISSIONS WILL ACCEPTED UNTIL SEPT 30TH.
